This fic has everything that encompasses Crazy Rich Asians: love, friendship, and food. The writer expanded Nick and Colin's friendship very well. Their banter is very relatable and hilarious. Of course, since the romantic aspect of the fic focuses on Nick and Rachel, which is quite sweet and fluffy, like the pandan cake. Instead of just buying her a cake, he actually bakes one for her. It's so fitting of his character. It's a lovely fic overall!
